Events and workshops

We run regular workshops on topics such as CVs, interviews and exploring different careers. We also run larger events about particular career paths or issues, inviting former postdocs as speakers. See what is coming up for Life science postdocs and Physical science postdocs.
We record most events so you can listen to past topics by accessing our extensive postdoc career podcasts.

Wider resources

Many of the Careers Service student resources are also useful for postdocs:

  • You can search for current vacancies in Vacancies & Opportunities. Save yourself some relevant searches to receive job alerts on a daily or weekly basis. You can also explore our two year archive - useful if you're researching employers for speculative applications or trying to anticipate future opportunities.
  • CamCareers emails - email bulletins related to specific job sectors
  • GradLink - read about, and contact, people working in a sector you're interested in
  • Information about graduate careers
  • Events - our student careers events which many employers attend
