Pre-clinical vacation experience

  • The Cambridge Global Health Internship Scheme allows Cambridge University undergraduates and finalists to experience first-hand the work of the UN and other international organisations in the area of international health in Geneva.
  • The Careers Service bursary scheme provides successful applicants with up to £500 to fund not-for-profit related summer work experience.

Clinical training

We have a copy of 'Medic's Guide to Work and Electives Around the World' in the library at the Careers Service.
  • The Selection Centres for Specialty Training online video provides support for preparing medical students and junior doctors for assessment stations. Using genuine assessors and candidates, the programme shows you what may happen in five different assessment stations.
