About the Careers Service

The Careers Service provides careers advice, guidance and information to all University of Cambridge:

  • Undergraduate/postgraduate students from their first term onwards, including those who are taking a break from their studies for any reason.
  • Postdoctoral and contract research staff
  • Alumni

Members of the University - Register here to access the full range of Careers Service resources.

Not a member of the University of Cambridge? A limited range of services is available to graduates of other universities under the Mutual Aid Scheme.

Opening Hours

During Term Monday to Friday, 9.15 to 5.15
Outside Term
Monday to Friday, 9.15 to 1.00 and 2.15 to 5.00

The Careers Service is open for appointments throughout the year, not just in term time, though final year students will be given priority during Michaelmas Term.

Getting here

The Universal bus serves Silver Street and Trumpington Street and costs £1 per journey for CU card holders. Check the timetable.

If you are a disabled driver, have a Blue Badge and require the disabled parking space at the Careers Service please notify us on booking your appointment (01223 338 283).  There is no other parking available at the Careers Service.
