Our own Careers Service listings are particularly good quality - many opportunities are unique to our lists – and they’re specifically targeted at Cambridge students. However, you should also look at relevant external lists:

Graduate-specific sites for jobs and internships

  • - jobs platform with opportunities for students, graduates and self-starters. have worked with over 6500 startups and fast growing businesses, as well as international companies, to unlock 1000s of work placements, internships and jobs
  • Prospects - primary UK source of graduate careers information - site includes job and internship listings, role profiles, info on sectors and postgraduate study advice and courses
  • TARGET jobs - graduate jobs, schemes and internships, employer listings, graduate career advice and good sector guides
  • Inside Careers - medium-sized graduate job listings, employer director, plus good downloadable sector guides
  • JobOnline from the Careers Group, University of London - wide ranging graduate vacancy database, currently open to students beyond University of London institutions, although this may change
  • Graduate-Jobs - good sized job listing with selection by location or degree, some interview feedback, forums, blogs and advice
  • Milkround - large jobs listing, list of Times Top 100, basic sector advice
  • Grad-Cracker - aimed at engineering and technology students, with good jobs listings and company info

Generalist jobs boards with graduate opportunities

Our top picks:

  • LinkedIn - now becoming the leading source of professional jobs, with increasing opportunities for grads, includes company profiles, sector special interest groups, and access to alumni profiles
  • GuardianJobs - large grad section, plus particular strengths in media and marketing - nice interface
  • Escape the City - good range of non-standard job and internship opportunities, especially in non-profit, start-ups, and international roles
  • Glassdoor - job listings, company info, interview feedback and salary info - a good site for research
  • Indeed - largest job site worldwide – sheer scale is its advantage and disadvantage - be selective
  • Joblift is a UK job search board which draws content from many partner job boards
