Our careers fairs are the most effective way for you to raise the profile of your organisation. They present an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your opportunities amongst the wide range of diverse talent at Cambridge in a short timeframe. 

Students from all years and disciplines attend the fairs, as well as recent alumni and post-docs. You will meet diverse students at various stages of their career journey. Some will be in the exploratory stages seeking information to decide their suitability for different sectors and roles. Others will be ready to apply for jobs and wish to enhance their understanding of your recruitment and assessment processes to make quality applications. Attendees will expect to meet with graduate recruiters/HR representatives, alumni and business representatives.

Summer 2024

Graduate Jobs Fair 

Monday 17 June 2024, 13:00 - 15:30

Do you have roles to fill this Summer or Autumn? For students who have been focusing on their academic studies, the job search starts now. This fair gives you access to finalists ready to join the job market as well as penultimate year undergraduates who are keen to get ahead with their research in preparation for employment in 2024. To participate your organisation must have graduate-level roles available with immediate, autumn or early winter start dates. Internships may also be promoted at this fair. The fair is open to all sectors.

Graduate Schemes & Internships Fair 

Monday 14 October 2024 14:00 – 18:00 

This fair is open to employers of all sizes and sectors with a range of graduate opportunities. It is our only fair with a broad non-sector specific focus and presents an opportunity for your organisation to promote the diverse opportunities you may have.  These could include internships or graduate roles in areas such as supply chain, logistics, distribution, sales/sales management, financial management, corporate social responsibility, human resources, operations and communications. 

We welcome registrations from a diverse range of organisations including multi-national organisations, retail, manufacturing, FMCG, and companies seeking their future managers, to communications, SMEs and start-ups. To attend organisations must offer paid graduate-level roles and/or internships. 

 

Consultancy Fair 

Tuesday 15 October 2024 14:00 – 18:00 
Wednesday 16 October 2024 14:00 – 18:00 

A prime opportunity for organisations operating in the consultancy sector to engage with our highly qualified students and graduates and build their brand on campus. 
 
We welcome registrations from organisations with roles in management, strategy, economic, financial, public, health, technology, human resources and other areas of the consultancy sector. 

 

Banking & Finance Fair 

Thursday 17 October 2024 14:00 – 18:00 

A popular destination for our students after graduation, this fair offer employers in the finance industry the opportunity to showcase the variety of roles available and to build their brand on campus.  

We welcome registrations from organisations offering graduate roles and/or internships in the finance sector including accountancy, actuarial, capital markets, financial management, fintech, investment banking, insurance, pensions, retail banking, risk management and taxation. 

 

Engineering & Tech Fair

Organisations with graduate roles and internships in the engineering and tech sectors can engage with our highly qualified students and graduates and build their brand with students and recent graduates from all years and degree disciplines interested in an engineering and/or tech career.  We welcome registrations from organisations working across software, consultancy, mechanical / general, automotive/aero, civil and medical engineering, as well as companies with technically skilled career opportunities such as development, coding and cloud computing and robotics; and non-technical careers including UX, UI, marketing, ethics, psychology, communications and politics.  

 

Life Sciences Fair 

Tuesday 29 October 2024 15:00 – 18:00

We welcome organisations working across therapeutics, drug discovery, and reagents in the biomedical field in addition to those focusing on plant science, agriculture and healthcare. We'll also be welcoming organisations who provide services to life science-based firms.

 

Maths & Quants Fair 

Wednesday 30  October 2023 - 15:00 - 18:00

This fair is attended by students wishing to explore career pathways in quantitative finance and/or careers that utilise their highly skilled mathematical abilities. This includes actuarial work, cryptography, forecasting, complex modelling, operational research, computational fluid dynamics, meteorology and signal processing. Representatives should ideally be practitioners able to discuss their work, and answer detailed questions raised by our maths and physics students. 

 

Law Fair 

Wednesday 6 November 2024 15:00 – 17:30 

This fair is the prime opportunity for organisations operating in the law sector to engage with our highly qualified students and graduates and build their brand on campus. 
 
We welcome registrations from law firms, course providers and sector relevant pro bono organisations. 

 

Economics Fair 

Thursday 7 November 2024 - Time 13:00 – 15:00

This fair is attended by students in the Department of Economics and those considering a career in economics. We welcome registrations from organisations offering specifically economics-related graduate level roles and/or internships.  

 

Barristers Fair

Tuesday 3 December 2024 - 14:00 – 16:00

Meet Cambridge students interested in a career at the Bar. This in-person only fair takes place in the Law department and is attended by students wishing to learn more about routes to the profession, qualifications needed to become a barrister and funding options available. They will be looking to hear from practicing barristers on their experience of the Bar as well as learning about different practice areas and gaining application tips.

Cambridge University careers fairs and festivals are exclusively for our students and recent graduates. Anyone else will be turned away.
