Employer Pop ups

Get creative and host a visually impactful pop up stand in an area of high footfall.

The University of Cambridge is spread over many sites. Each site is home to different faculties. There are two outdoor locations with higher footfall where supporters can install a pop up.

We require a minimum of three weeks' notice to arrange and promote your pop up.

Sidgwick site

Home to: 

  • Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies
  • Faculty of Classics with the Museum of Classical Archaeology
  • Faculty of English, incorporating the Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic
  • Faculty of Music
  • Faculty of History
  • Faculty of Law
  • Department of Politics and International Studies
  • Faculty of Modern & Medieval Languages
  • Faculty of Economics
  • Faculty of Divinity
  • Faculty of Philosophy
  • Institute of Criminology
  • Centre of Latin American Studies

When: During term time from October to November and mid-January to mid-February 

Cost: £450 (+VAT)  

A 50% discount is offered to public sector, charities and SMEs with a turnover of less than £10 million. 

Includes 

  • Advice and guidance on creating a successful pop up
  • A targeted email promoting your event
  • Event listing and promotion on Handshake
  • Coordination with University sites

West Hub 

Home to: 

  • Department of Physics
  • Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology
  • Computer Laboratory
  • Electrical Engineering Division, Civil Engineering Division Geotechnical and Environmental Research Group and Institute for Manufacturing (Department of Engineering) 
  • Department of Material Science and Metallurgy 

When: During term time from October to November and mid-January to mid-February 

Cost: 

  • £450 (+VAT) for pop up support and promotion (payable to Cambridge Careers Service)
    A 50% discount on the £450 support fee is offered to public sector organisations, charities, and SMEs with a turnover under £10 million.

  • £50 per hour venue hire, charged separately and payable directly to West Hub
