Upcoming Events

Are you ready to start your job search?

Gain access to organisations from a range of sectors with graduate-level roles with immediate, autumn or early winter start dates at our Graduate Jobs Fair. Internships may also be promoted at this event.

Organisations will be able to share information about their roles and values with you in advance so you can do your research prior to the fair.

You will meet managers, recent graduate hires and recruiters in an informal setting to:

  • develop insights into different company cultures, working practices and career paths and compare what they have to offer

  • discuss career paths and job roles and where you might fit

  • gain inside information on hiring and selection processes

Connect with Cambridge Students and Alumni

Handshake is your space to meet and connect. You can use the platform to start conversations with people in the jobs and places that you want to reach. Gain inspiration, industry insight and advice - and share your story with students and alumni. You can even become a mentor and help a current student to develop their career plans.

If you are planning to work and live overseas after Cambridge, you can benefit from joiniing any of more than 400 volunteer-led Alumni Groups around the world - an invaluable source of support.

Read Our Blog

Our popular careers blog is a great way to get a  quick overview of some key topics in graduate recruitment.  You'll find inspiring stories of Cambridge alumni as they share their career journeys, and gain valuable insights into trends in the labour market. We've also got a dedicated blog for postdocs

Supporting You After Cambridge

We're here for you beyond graduation too. You'll have access to the careers service via our Handshake platform. Don't forget that your @cam email address will expire if you are leaving Cambridge. To continue accessing our support just log in and update your email address in the 'My Profile' section with your @cantab.ac.uk email address. You can claim this via the University Alumni site.

We want to stay connected to our alumni, so you'll also get an email from us in the next few months to find out what you are doing after your course. This helps us to plan how best we can support our students and graduates - so please do take the time to complete it. Next year you will also be asked to complete the Graduate Outcomes Survey - a nationwide census of recent graduates.
