Hosting a bespoke presentation or event for our students and recent graduates is a great way to focus awareness and share enhanced insight into your brand, organisation culture and roles.

Our employer event service offers you the flexibility to create a tailored event that suits your recruitment needs. Events can be hosted on-campus or online via Handshake or your own platform.

Top tips

  • Presentations work best for organisations that already have brand recognition amongst our students and are looking to convert that interest into quality applications.
  • To maximise attendance, events should take place during term time between October and November and January and mid-February.
  • Our students are heavily targeted and have busy schedules. To increase attendance, consider what additional value your event can provide. When promoting it, clearly outline the purpose, outcomes and benefits of attending.

Our Employer Engagement Coordinators can advise you on the best ways to deliver a successful event to your target audience.

There is a limited number of spaces for employers to deliver an event. To maximise attendance we recommend that events are not held at the same time as our careers fairs where there is a clash of interest.

We do our utmost to prevent clashes with competitor organisations, however, we can not take responsibility for potential clashes of events taking place through Cambridge University student societies, departments or colleges. We can not guarantee attendance.

Presentation booking for Michaelmas 2024 opens on Monday 15 April at 9am. We cannot accept bookings before this date.
