Every year, Cambridge Careers Service hosts a number of in-person and virtual careers fairs and festivals themed by sector.

Whether you are at the start of your career journey and researching different careers paths and options or ready to apply for roles, attending careers fairs are a great way to meet managers, recent graduate hires and recruiters in an informal setting to:

  • develop insights into different company cultures, working practices and career paths and compare what they have to offer
  • discuss career paths and job roles and where you might fit
  • gain inside information on hiring and selection processes
  • build your network

Tips for using the brochures

  • If you are unfamiliar with a firm, check their summary, so you can easily gauge if what they do is likely to be of interest
  • Entries are in the same format so you can compare graduate roles, see application processes and deadlines, and internships/vacation work, if offered.
  • Search job postings on Handshake and save your searches, so relevant vacancies arrive in your inbox all year round - not just from firms at the event.
  • Select your industry interests on Handshake to receive targeted emails from employers regarding their events and vacancies.
